The Company consists of 20 women and men aged 60+. Although many of our members have had no prior dance training, their wealth of life experience brings a unique quality to their work. They develop their capability as dancers through an ongoing regular programme of technique classes and workshops.

Our performance work is led by our Artistic Director, Jason Keenan-Smith. New pieces for performance have been commissioned from new and established choreographers. These have included Lea Anderson, Jose Agudo, Ben Duke, James Finnemore, Yael Flexer, Antonia Grove, and Bettina Stickler. Three Score Dance is hugely grateful for the support it has received for this artistic work, notably from Arts Council England, Brighton Dome and Festival, South East Dance, Chalk Cliff Trust, the National Lottery, and Sport England.

Dr Rosaria Gracia takes the lead on our participation activities. These include our contemporary dance classes, our community workshops, and participation programme. The latter is supported by Company and Class member volunteers. We are grateful for the financial support for participation activity provided by Sussex Community Foundation and Chalk Cliff Trust .
