CREATIVE CLASS 2 WITH AMY MORVELL - 25 Feb to 25 March 2026
COURSE LEADER AMY MORVELL
This creative course invites participants to explore the joyful connection between words and movement. Using stories, memories, and simple pieces of text as inspiration, we’ll discover how the body can tell stories in playful and expressive ways.
Led by Amy, the sessions are gently structured and take place in a warm, supportive environment where there’s plenty of room to explore, play, discover and where curiosity is encouraged. Participants will be guided to turn personal experiences and shared stories into their own unique movement language, building confidence, creativity, and connection along the way. Expect to move, imagine, laugh, and create together.
The sessions will explore the different choreographic processes from Amy’s most recent research called The Difference a Year Makes. Here is some more information about the work: https://www.amymorvelldance.com/performances/the-difference-a-year-makes
Open to ages 55+ and all levels of experience or mobility.
WHEN: WEDNESDAY, 12:30 – 2:30 PM (2 HOURS)
DATES: 25 FEBRUARY TO 25 MARCH (5 WEEKS)
