CALLOUT: DANCE FACILITATOR
Three Score Dance is looking for an experienced contemporary dance facilitator to lead a new group made up of alumni from our performing company of dancers ages 60+.
When: Mondays, 1–3pm
Dates:
1. 3rd November – 8th December 2025 (6 weeks)
2. 23rd February – 23rd March 2026 (5 weeks)
3. 1st June – 6th July 2026 (6 weeks)
Where: The Dance Space, Brighton BN2 9AS
Participants: Dancers aged 60+ with experience of contemporary dance
Sessions will combine contemporary technique and creative exploration, offering alumni dancers the opportunity to continue developing skills, creativity, and connection within a supportive environment.
We are looking for an artist with:
An inclusive, community-engaged practice
Experience of working with older dancers and diverse movement abilities
Skills in delivering both technique training and creative sessions
A collaborative and supportive approach to dance facilitation
An interest in becoming an ongoing freelance member of our team with the potential to deliver outreach sessions in the community on an ad hoc basis
Fee: £42 per hour (£84 per session)
Terms of engagement: This is a freelance position. Successful candidates will be engaged on a self-employed basis and are responsible for managing their own tax contributions. They must also hold valid Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million.
